With a new decade in our presence, it is so important to evaluate our habitual choices that we put into motion every day. For many, eating meat and dairy products is apart of a natural routine. Fact of the matter is, our bodies are 70% water and eating plant-based diets have proven to work wonders for longevity and well-being.
One of the leading and most prominent leaders of the vegan movement is Beyonce. She and Jay-Z see health as a truthful practice rather than merely just a diet. Together, they have embarked upon a pivotal mission to share their truth and healthy lifestyle.
What’s beautiful about the moves this power couple are making in regards to food is that they are leading by example. They do not focus solely on converting people to veganism, rather they encourage people to set a specific goal and act upon it to improve their lifestyle.
Together with trainer/nutritionist, Marco Borges Jay and Bey are taking the Japanese Kaizen approach to focus on small, incremental improvements. Some of the main foods the initiative focuses on are whole grains, vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds. Exercise and nutrition are proactive measures that should be taken into deep consideration to experience the best possible outcomes in 2020.
